WHAT YOU NEED
THIS PATTERN CALLS FOR TWO YARN WEIGHTS, REFERRED TO AS A AND B THROUGHOUT THE PATTERN.
You can use any yarn weights you like, just make sure you get the right fit. ATTIRE SC 25 = DOLL SC 20.
The attire requires a thinner yarn weight and a looser tension than the doll.
In addition to the original sized doll portrayed in this pattern, I have listed some possible yarn weight options below. Yarn weights, amount of yarn and hook sizes may vary according to your tension and personal preference.

ORIGINAL
A yarn: SUPER FINE (1), crochet hook: C (2.50 mm)
B yarn: LACE (0), crochet hook: 4/0 (1.75 mm)

A yarn: MEDIUM (4), crochet hook: G (4.00 mm)
B yarn: LIGHT (3), crochet hook: D (3.00 mm)

You can pick any colors you want for this project. However, this is what I have used:
A YARN
Brand & weight/yardage pr skein
SUPER FINE (1) Hobbii Yarn: Rainbow Deluxe Cotton, 8/4, 50 g (1.76 oz) = 170 m (186 yds).
Yarn amounts used & color codes
1.58 oz (45 g) Mocha Latte (06) – Body, head and arms.
0.88 oz (25 g) Dark Chocolate (09) – Hoofs and antlers.
0.2 oz (7 g) Natural White (02) – Eyes, muzzle and hoof detail.
B YARN
Brand & weight/yardage pr skein
LACE (0) Hobbii Yarn: Rainbow Lace Mercerized Cotton. 2 ply crochet thread size 10, 50 g (1.75 oz) = 280 m (308 yds).
Yarn amounts used & color codes
3.52 oz (100 g) Black (009) – Dress and nose.
1.05 oz (30 g) Deep Jungle Green (100) – Sleeves, collar, belt and top layer of the dress.
0.70 oz (20 g) Effect yarn, pale gold – Attire details.
TOOLS & OTHER MATERIALS
* Is for the original sized doll, if you have chosen other yarn weights, adjust sizes and gauge accordingly.
*Hook sizes: C (2.50 mm), 4/0 (1.75 mm) and optionally B (2.0 mm).
*Strong steel wire, gauge 18 (1.02mm).
*2 x 0.31” (8 mm) black safety eyes.
*1 x 0.15” (4 mm) button for the collar.
Fiber filling.
Paper tape to wrap the wire.
Long strand of thin black ribbon to tie the belt.
Scissors, daring needle and pins or stitch markers.
Pliers to bend and cut the wire.
A chopstick to help fill up the narrow part of the legs.
Optional: Water and 90 pins to block the pine branches and fingers.
